Jonathan McReynolds Announces Tour Dates and Digital Streaming of Live Concert Video on Tidal
Jonathan Reynolds’ artistry is a bridge that spans the length of what gospel music has always been and what inspirational music can be. The spiritual integrity he sustains in song embodies the depth of message that comes straight from the Good Book and an open spirit. Jonathan is a musical virtuoso and it is evident in his recent live recording concert. Released on March 9th, Make Room (Entertainment One Music) is Reynolds’ 4th album. The rollout of this project has included a live broadcast, an exclusive viewing via streaming and an upcoming tour.
In March, the singer, songwriter and musician recorded a live concert of his works for broadcast on Network TV. Originally featured on TVOne, the performance was made available exclusively on music streaming platform Tidal on June 29th. With guitar in hand, Reynolds improvises eloquently during his performance. The concert ebbs and flows between the rehearsed and the spontaneous. The significance of Reynolds’ work featured on the platform is echoed in what was told to India Arie via Stevie Wonder – “we need you on the planet”.
Make Room, was recorded live in Chicago at CineSpace. During its debut, Make Room docked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Gospel Album Charts and No. 2 on the Christian/Gospel albums. The album features The Hamiltones, Latice Crawford, Travis Greene, Anthony Brown, Darrel Walls, Dee-w Wilson, DOE and Tonya Bake. The next journey Reynold’s will embark on for this album is the “Make Room” tour. Tour dates include venues in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Memphis and will go from September 6th– 21st with special guests announced. Tickets went on sale Friday, June 29th.
