Motown Gospel is gearing up to represent well in the upcoming 2018 Stellar Awards. The 33rd Annual affair will see an excellent showing of the label’s talent and break records for this year’s broadcast. From securing the most award nominations for a female, to introducing new nominees into the collective, to a veteran coming around the bend, Motown Gospel is a true contender.

Fresh from a spirit pumping performance on Good Morning America that has help propel her star and impact further, Tasha Cobbs Leonard leads the pack for women with 9 nominations. Her most recent album “Heart. Passion. Pursuit.” Was nodded with Album of the Year which also received a nomination for Recorded Music Packaging of the Year.

Veteran Crooner Kenny Lattimore gets accolades for his recent holiday project with his second Stellar Award. As a result of putting out a successful project, singer Gene Moore’s debut album garnered him a nomination as well.
